Windy City Toque
My tension is considered tight, so you may need to change your hook size to obtain gauge.
The reason I chose to alternate between the 2 hooks, the Hdc cL is a thicker st, so it bulks up. That’s why I went down a whole hook size for those rows.
As with most of my designs, gauge isn’t crucial.
I used a foundation of 42 hdc & have a great slouch.
You can add more to get a super slouch, or omit to have a slight slouch. It’s completely up to you.
Do as many rows as necessary to fit your head, making sure to end on a cl row.
I used about half a skein.
Depending on the type of Pom Pom you add, you will need more of making your own.
I think this would look great in just about any color.
Keep it solid
Block it.
Stripe it.
Go wild & make it your own!
Can’t wait to see your beautiful makes.
