Some one was looking for a Wine glass applique, there weren’t any out there. So I gave it a spin and this is the result.

Any size yarn, with coordinating hook, can be used to achieve different sized appliques. For this I used worsted weight and the applique came out to 4” tall by 2.5” wide at both ends.

Further, you can make it a solid glass, or have it so that it simulates wine by using white + color like I did in my sample.
