With this pattern, you can create charming covers for wine bottles. These can then be used for decoration or as gift packaging.

As an additional option, it is also possible to make a cover for a wine cooler.

The pattern includes both written instructions and charts, as well as a photo tutorial and a video tutorial for mosaic crochet in the round.

For the winebottle covers, the following materials have been used:
Grapes leaf winebottle cover:

Grapes leaf winebottle cover:

• 1 x Durable Cosy Extra Fine 2214 (Cayenne) (197 yards (180 metres) per skein)

For the winecooler, you’ll use 1 skeins of each color.

Size:
The pattern is designed for a 75 cl winebottle. The sizes of these bottles may not all be exactly the same. The cover is quite
stretchy so it should fit most 75 cl winebottles. The circumference of the cover will be 22 cm (8,7”) and the height 20 cm (7,9”). Since accuracy in size is important for this pattern, it’s strongly recommended to make a gauge swatch. If you don’t
achieve exactly the same result with the recommended yarn and hook size, you can try using a bigger hook or perhaps
different yarn.

For the winecooler cover, I used a winecooler with a circumference of 44 cm (17,3”) and a height of 20 cm (7,9”). With thesedimensions, I was able to repeat my pattern exactly 4 times for a snug fit. If you have a winecooler with different dimensions,
there are a few things you can do. You can use a slightly thicker or thinner yarn, or you can use a larger or smaller crochet
hook. Make a gauge swatch to see how your stitch count turns out.

Tension:
24 stitches and 25 rows for a 10x10 cm (4” x 4”) tension square, using a 2,5 mm hook.

Abbreviations:
In this pattern, US terminology has been used.
