The “WINE TIME” Wine Bottle Sweater is a trendy design that makes up rather quickly. The written pattern and a photo tutorial for the link stitch as well as a few of my tips on “How to Dress Up” your sweater are included. Although I’ve added a few of my tips on how to accessorize your sweaters the possibilities are endless. I’ve added wooden beads to some, used jute as a bow and so on. I can’t wait to see where your imagination takes you when dressing up your sweaters!!

This sweater slips over the top of the bottle.

This is an intermediate pattern.

MATERIALS NEEDED

• Medium #3 Cotton yarn (I used Yarn Bee Sugarwheel Cotton)
• Approximately 70 yards
• 3.75 mm (F)
• Yarn Needle

STITCH KEY

st = stitch
Rnd(s) = Round (s)
Ch = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
HDC = Half Double Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
Link Stitch = See below
sl st = slip stitch
Rpt = Repeat
Sk = Skip a stitch
SC2tog = Single crochet decrease (SC two stitches together)
BLO = black loop only

~NOTE: This pattern is for standard sized and shaped wine bottles that measure about 3” across.

Example of written pattern:
Rnd 3: DC in each st around, join to 1st DC, Ch 1
