Winged Migration Socks
The patterned stitch sprinkled across the surface of the knit fabric lookss like tiny butterflies: hence the name Winged Migration. To make the most of the yarn, I divided the skein and worked the pattern toe up.
The pattern stitch is amazingly simple and the yarn knits up beautifully (and quickly) on slightly larger needles than your standard issue tiny sock needles. The small pattern repeat and the toe up construction make it easy to modify size and fit according to your own preferences.
This pattern was originally designed exclusively for Three Irish Girls, and was later released for purchases on Kristel Nyberg Designs @ Ravelry.
