The two suggested yarns are held together.

A fun little stitch pattern to experiment with, try holding different yarns together to obtain the perfect texture, or one strand of dk weight yarn in substitution.

Pattern notes: You may want to use a smaller (size 5) needle for the garter stitch borders and larger (size 7) for the body so the edges do not flare out.

Gauge is not critical, however a nice drapey fabric would be best.
