Wings of Hope
We all live in hope. I know I do – for many reasons in many ways.
I started this pattern when the pandemic hit – it was simply my way of dealing with all the ugliness – sickness, loss of loved ones, anger in the stores, anger in general, the loneliness while quarantined, businesses having to close at the risk of not being able to recover, all the while hoping my family and friends would be safe from it all.
I hope every day – that my loved ones will continue to be free from the virus, that my daughter will continue to stay healthy both physically and emotionally as she continues to treat those affected, that we will come out of this with a better ‘normal’ – those are my hopes, and this simple hat is the result.
The Wings stitch is simple, and adding the beads is optional.
