Winkle Baby Lamb/Sheep Blanket Pattern

Winkle is the cutest baby lamb just waiting to be gifted. This baby blanket is the perfect accessory/gift for any new mom and babe. It features a really easy/simple pattern that is great for all types of yarn.
I imagine grey/soft white combinations for modern nurseries-blue and pink sheep for gender specific blankets and mints/yellows/beiges for classy gender neutral options. For me, this blanket encompasses all the warmth, coziness and happiness that you can get from a blanket. I hope you all feel the same too.

This pattern is worked up using the classic solid granny square.

The pattern uses Ravenswood Fibre Co DK weight yarn (85/15% Merino/Nylon) and a 4mm hook.
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork!

The final blanket size was: Approximately 35”x 35” inches square. If rectangular blankets are more your thing--adding an extra row on the top and bottom will give you the perfect rectangle.
