Winkworth headband
This is “Winkworth”, a headband knitted flat with super bulky yarn
(I held my yarn as shown, doubled throughout), so it works up really fast. The knit starts out with a small Tab and increases for the middle cabled repeats. Connect beginning and ending Tab with a button (no button hole).
The cable is a great one to work, it looks like little square boxes. Very cool…
For head circumferences: 21” as shown, 22”, 23”, 24”.

Used here Is a smaller version of the Giant yarn cake. 70 to 80 yards in a bulky weight used here with yarn held double. Each cake consists of 5 strands of light weight yarns, hand wound and in 4 to 5 colors to create depth.
