just because a baby blanket is always a good idea…

This blanket is designed for a newborn baby, I like neutral colors in a nursery. As a mother of a large family, I use to make soft but not fluffy blankets, not too heavy but with some weight, not too warm but warm enough, small but big enough for a toddler just in case the blanket would be a very loved one… and of course made from natural materials… Well, any gauge can fit, any yarn could be fine, but I would recommend a very round thread offering a good definition and a lovely drape. This blanket is worked in the round from the center point on the right side only and is perfect if you are new into lace knitting. Beware, this pattern is very addictive!

gauge is not critical and you can easily adapt the size by adding rounds or changing the gauge.
