After seeing a hat worn by the US ski team at the winter games of 2022, I decided I needed to recreate the design.
After many attempts, I came up with this hat using 1/1 cables to create a swirling design in two directions.

I used Woolstok worsted for my hat, which I really consider to be more of a DK weight yarn. To make hat more of an adult medium/large, I would suggest sizing up to a true worsted and going up to size 4/6 needles.
