“Winter Wrap”
This design is themed for my December Outlander monthly pattern where the inspiration title was “winter on the ridge”.
I wanted to create a piece that could be wrapped around the shoulders or used as a lap blanket to keep the cold out, a creation suited to have in the home or wrapped against the elements outside.
It’s been created in worsted/DK weight yarn and I have used colours that to me talk loudly of Outlander both relating to characters and the scenery of landscape.
Being an easy knit with just enough stitch pattern to keep interest it’s a perfect piece to create whilst re watching the series as it gently grows and does its intention of keeping your lap cosy and warm.
Whatever colours you choose I hope you enjoy the wrap/blanket for many years to come.
