PATTERN NOTES
Winter Aspen is a beautiful cowl inspired by the view from my bedroom window on a winter morning. It uses slipped stitch cables to create the image of aspen trees above a moss stitch ground. The trees are delicate, and the background is glittering. You’ll love this cozy piece around your shoulders no matter the occasion.

This cowl is meant to fit with 2-4” of positive ease at the hem when wrapped around the arms and chest 6” below the shoulder. If in doubt, go up a size.

This cowl is worked one piece in the round beginning with a provisional cast on which is folded to create a tidy hem. Work all slipped stitches purlwise with yarn held in back unless otherwise noted.
