Winter baby bonnet
Why wrap them in cotton wool when you can wrap them in silk and merino or cashmere?
This hat is designed for a luxury aran weight yarn and can be knit flat or partially in the round. It can be knit in one or two colours (the two colour version is a more intermediate knit, particularly if you want to avoid lots of ends).

Yarn and yardage
I used Sylvia aran by posh yarn (50% silk, 50 merino) for the red bonnet. Posh yarn only make one-off colourways so you will not get the same colour as shown. I used Luxury Yarns Altopiano cashmere & a multi coloured handspun yarn with short colour repeats for the grey, bonnet. You can of course substitute any ultra soft aran yarn
