Winter beanie
This my this season’s favorite winter beanie (up to now ;-).
It has a corrugated ribbing, a sweet snowflake peerie at the bottom and a lovely snow landscape with fence, houses and trees at the body. Snowflakes cover the upper half of the beanie and at the top is a single big white snowflake.
It will fit up to 54 cm head circumreference.
For bigger heads use bigger needle size or 5-ply yarn (e. g. Buttinette Merino Madeleine) or both!
I knit this beanie completely with Buttinette sock yarn söckli 4-ply in dark blue and off-white. You need about 40 g of each colour.
As this project is knit with only two colours throughout the total project it’s also suitable for colour-knitting beginners.
Note: There was a small mistake in the pattern. It said purl one row in black. It should be “ purl one row in blue”.
I corrected the pattern and sent all buyers an update.
Enjoy and happy knitting!
