This is the cover project for Knit Today Magazine, No. 54, December 2010. It’s a plain coat in chunky boucle yarn, buttoned only at the stand-up collar, and with two large patch pockets. It’s knitted in stocking stitch with garter stitch at cuff and hem.

Four large buttons are required: two for the collar fastening, and one for each cuff. There is no stitch diagram or chart. There is a brief photo tutorial on k2tog through the back loop.
