Touch Yarns Merino 8ply/DK Shade #822 approximately 100m per 50g ball.
Newborn 1 x 50g/1oz
3 months 1 x 50g/2oz
6 - 12 months 1 x 50g/2oz
1 pair 3.25mm/US 3 knitting needles.
1 pair 3.75mm/US 5 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.
Note - Using a different yarn other than the one specified may give an unsatisfactory result.

Tension
24 sts and 32 rows to 10cm/4 ins over stocking stitch on 3.75mm/US 5 knitting needles.

Abbreviations
Cm - centimetres, inc - increase (increase into next stitch by knitting into the front and the back thus making two stitches), ins - inches, k - knit, k2tog - knit 2 stitches together, kw - knitwise, moss st - moss stitch (on first row knit 1, purl 1 repeat these two stitches until end of row, on the next row purl the knitted stitch and knit the purled stitch), p - purl, p2tog - purl 2 stitches together, pw - purlwise, rep - repeat, sl - slip, st(s) - stitch(es), stst - stocking stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row, repeat these two rows), tbl - through back of loop, yb - yarn back.
