You know the feeling of walking home on a wintery night? When it’s not too cold, it’s quiet, there aren’t many cars on the street. People’s christmas lights are on, you can see your breath, and you have a peaceful moment to yourself. And then it starts to snow. And you wish that you could capture this moment like in a snowglobe.

Well this was my inspiration for knitting up this picture of a lone streetlight on a bridge in some simple eyelet lace snow.

Made using knits, purls, yo’s, and k2togs, this washcloth is a fun study in perspectives, and an easy piece of knitable art
