Winter cape for little dolls
What do the pretty little dolls with the beautiful princess dresses need when they are invited to a big ball at the castle in winter? That’s right … a winter cape.
This one is knitted and has a nice big hood and a wide white hem all around. It is variable in length and fastens at the neck with a decorative clasp. It falls open at the bottom so that you can still see the beautiful dress underneath. In this outfit, the doll is sure to be the most beautiful at the ball and will enchant the prince :-)
We knit the cape in one piece as a raglan from the top of the neck towards the hem. The increases are even and the length of the cape is variable. Then we knit on a hood. Finally, we sew on a fastener. The new winter cape is finished and the doll is ready for the big ball.
I wish you lots of fun with this project and many beautiful winter capes for your children’s and grandchildren’s dolls.
