This will be my last beanie before christmas 2013.

It has only three colors in the whole beanie. So it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.
Even if you pull a bit too tight this beanie will still fit as it’s a bit bigger than my usual beanies.
You could also reduce it to using two colors (dark blue and off-white) which would make the knitting even easier.

It has a simple two color ribbing, followed by a wild boar and it’s baby boar. Then comes a little tree or forest border pattern.
The next band shows the feeding of the roe deers, above them again trees with falling snow.
At the top are 5 bird houses (bird feeding stations) with two birds and a bird food ball (Meisenknödel) dangling from the bird house where the birds can pick their food from..

Right at the center of the top is a lovely ornament.

For smaller heads it will be more of a slouchy beanie style. For bigger heads it will fit more like a normal beanie.

I knitted this beanie with 4-ply sock yarn but alternatively you can also use 4-ply Merino yarn or Acrylic yarn.

Das ist meine letzte Mütze vor Weihnachten 2013.
Ich hoffe, sie gefällt Euch so gut wie mir.

Sie hat nur drei Farben (man könnte aber das braun auch durch blau ersetzen). Damit wäre so für Mehrfarbenstrickanfänger sogar noch leichter zu stricken.

Sie hat einen einfachen zweifarbigen Bund. Im Anschluß folgt die Wildschweinrotte mit Mama Wildschwein und ihren Babies (Frischlingen).
Darüber wird eine Waldbordüre gestrickt.
Im Anschluß folgen die Rehe bei der Fütterung.
Die Futterkrippe ist gut gefüllt.
Danach folgen etwas größere schneebedeckte Bäume.
Obendrauf sind 5 Vogelhäuschen, mit zwei Vögeln und einem Meisenknödel.
Auf der Mützenspitze ist ein wunderschönes kleines Ornament.

Für kleinere Köpfe fällt die Mütze eher salopp aus und fällt hinten leicht über (slouchy). Bei größeren Köpfen eher wie eine normale Beanie.

Ich habe die Mütze aus 4-fach Sockengarn gestrickt. Alternativ könnt Ihr natürlich wie immer auch 4-fach Merinogarn oder Acrylgarn verwenden.
