The Winter Delights series was inspired by an early October snow storm that resulted in more than 4 feet of snow in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.

At first glance the body of the sock appears to be a stranded knitting design, but it is actually worked using only one strand of yarn for each row. The contrast is achieved by alternating the main and a contrasting color for each row.

Size: S, M, L The foot and leg length is adjustable.

Material:
Yarn: Malabrigo Sock, 3.5oz, 440 yards.
Actual yardage used for size M:
MC – Natural 60g, 264 yards
CC – Arbol 70g, 308 yards

Gauge: 32sts and 44 rows = 4” (10cm) in Eye of Partridge stitch.

Needles: US#4 / 3.50mm DPNs.
US #2 / 2.75mm DPNs and circular needle.

Misc: 1 stitch marker, waste yarn for lifeline, tapestry needle, cable needle
