Winter Dreamer Blanket
To celebrate this release, everything in my pattern store is 40% off through the end of the year! Use the code: WINTER at checkout. This code can be used as many times as you wish.
Our handsome little bunny Kuro is modeling this design and I am hopeful it will help bring attention to a very important cause. My daughter Zoe needs help funding this little cuties surgery to have his eyes removed. He’s developed glaucoma that is severe and has led to almost total blindness in both eyes. His vet at WSU has recommended this surgery to reduce his pain. It will cost nearly $1K. Even just sharing this post and pattern will help us out a lot! Thank you so much, friends!

Design
This design is part of my Dreamer Collection. This bulky blanket is wonderfully squishy, worked in a unique cable that creates a stretchy 4X1 rib. Worked up on large needles with 2 strands of worsted/aran weight yarn. Alternatively, you can hold a single strand of chunky/bulky weight yarn. Pattern is written in THREE sizes. (see below) All repeats appear in bold text throughout pattern. The pattern is charted and also includes separate written instructions.
Finished Measurements (blocked)
Small: 32”/81 cm x 48”/122 cm
Medium: 46”/117 cm x 60”/152 cm
Large: 60”/152 cm x 78”/198 cm
Yarn Weight
Worsted/Aran weight yarn, held double OR a single strand of Chunky/Bulky weight yarn
Note: Holding worsted/aran weight double is my pro-tip when making blankets. You get the biggest bang for your buck with this weight because there’s generally lots of yardage in these skeins. Meaning fewer weave-ins and a more cost-efficient project. You can also substitute half the yardage needed with a chunky/bulky weight yarn, if you prefer.
