Winter Dreamer Pullover
This pattern is included in my new book, Cozy Cables. You can purchase the printed book here.
Winter Dreamer was inspired by the final weeks of autumn, when the last of the changing leaves commence their drop to the first frost on the ground below. That transition brings chillier temperatures when another layer of warmth is needed. This perfect balance is struck in this lightweight cabled pullover.
The Winter Dreamer Pullover is a cropped, reversible boat-neck pullover that is worked in the round from the top down. Raglan increases form the yoke of the pullover. This pullover is completely reversible, so no short-row shaping is needed, making this a great contender for your first sweater project. A longtail tubular cast-on is used for the neck, lending a professional finish to the garment. However, any stretchy cast-on can be used instead. The hem is finished with a sewn tubular bind-off but feel free to use any stretchy bind off you prefer. This pattern is charted and includes written instructions.
CONSTRUCTION
This pullover is worked in the round from the neck down. The sleeves are also knit in the round top down. The split-hem is worked back and forth. This pullover is designed with a cropped length but feel free to lengthen the torso if you’d like. However, keep in mind this will change your yarn yardage/meterage.
