TECHNIQUES:

• knitting in the round (using circulars and double pointed needles)* knit and purl
• decreases (k2tog + ssk)
• yarn over

YARN:

• about 30g Schibot Garne Soft Socks 400m (437 yards) / 100g, 80% merino extrafine, 20% polyamid
• about 20g Extraklasse 225m (246 yards) / 25g 100% kidmohair

NEEDLES:

• 1x 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needle with a 40cm (16’’) cable
• 1x 4.0 mm (US 6) circular needle with a 40cm (16’’) cable
• 1x 4.0 mm (US 6) DPNs (double pointed needles) or sizes you need to obtain gauge

NOTIONS:

• stitch marker to mark beginning of round
• seven more stitch markers to mark pattern repeat
• scissors, darning needle

GAUGE: 22 sts x 32 rds (stockinette with larger needle size)

SIZE: one size fits all adults, 52-54cm (20-21’’) head circumference

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: advanced
