This beautiful baby hat and mittens set was inspired by snowy forests and northern lights. Knit up in Sandnes Garn’s superwash merino, it makes a sweet and easy-care gift for any new caregiver.

While the hat uses Fair Isle–inspired patterns and stranded knitting, the mittens feature an embroidered snowflake and two-colour edging. You could also embroider the tree design, or your own!
