The Winter Garden Sweater is a lightweight sweater that uses a modified box stitch to create an open and airy fabric. The front, back, and both sleeves are worked in panels and sewn together, then slip stitch ribbing is worked directly onto the neckline and cuffs. Finally, you have the choice of 2 hem options - a delicate picot border that leaves the hem flowy and open, or a slip stitch ribbing for a more traditional sweater fit.

This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners as it uses a simple stitch pattern but may be difficult for someone who has never worked with fingering weight yarn. It is graded for sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) and designed to have about 4-6in. of positive ease. Bust size of finished garment is 34 (38, 42, 46, 50) (54, 58, 62, 66) in.
