This really fun double knitted pattern includes charts for all the sections that can be used in or out of order. They can also be used for other crafts, not just double knitting!

Try with Intarsia, Cross stitching, graphigans or stranded knitting using ladder back jacquard!

Please note the yardage used here is because of holding both the front and back yarns in double to achieve the look I wanted.

Please note that the 2 fingering weights held together create a heavy DK but not quite the worsted weight. Please feel free to use a DK weight or worsted weight (which will greatly reduce the yardage needed by half)

You can easily adapt this pattern using solid colors, or a gradient and a solid.

Highly suggest interchangeable needles with 60” chord (or smaller if that is more manageable) as this blanket gets heavy when knitting! The weight can comfortably sit on your lap on the chord.

Stitch markers are a good idea to keep handy for various sections!
