This cowl is a close fitting cowl, knitted top down. For the pattern, every second round is worked plain knit stitch, with the pattern being knitted using lace in the rows in between.

This pattern is in written instructions. There is also a chart for the pattern section that includes the lace working only.

Finishing dimensions before blocking: 24cm (9.4inch) high, 44.5cm (17.5inch) wide when laid flat (and thus folded in half).

Gauge: 20 st = 10 cm (4 inch)

Notions: 1 BOR marker is used, the rest of the pattern is written to include stitch markers.
