Winter Harvest Mittens
The winter landscape in our Northern home is a wash of subdued hues. Golden sunsets, and crisp leaves still clinging to the branch, grey mornings, bare bark, and firewood, with every surface dusted with snow.
I wanted to bring the beauty of this winter pallet into a cozy pair of mittens I could enjoy while wandering the frozen forest.
The Winter Harvest Mittens feature a traditional mitten shape, an afterthought thumb, and a stranded colorwork cuff, capped by a band of corrugated ribbing.
They are worked cuff to finger tip, in the round.
They are sized Unisex, kid’s small all the way through adult large.
