“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it’s summer in the light and winter in the shade.” - Charles Dickens
Have some pretty skeins of fingering-weight yarn that need a job? Here’s a chance to use a couple of coordinating skeins for a pretty, reversible shawl. The small size and double layer make it the perfect accessory around your neck when cold winds blow. A small keyhole at one corner helps to keep it in place.
You will need 400 yards of each color.
If you only want to knit one side or the other, see the other shawls in the eBook - Redbud Winter and Dogwood Spring.
Skills required:
• Increasing
• Decreasing
• Right and left twists
• Backwards-loop cast-on
Sample knit in Miss Babs Caroline in Field Mouse and Fleur de Sel.
