I used Red Heart Comfort yarn (two skeins or the two threads of a skein).
Red Heart Comfort (454 g/16 oz/792m/867 yds, 100% acrylic) #3220 – Charcoal, #3131 – Black and #3194 – Shocking Pink
8 mm needles (straights)
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
With 8 mm needles, 10 stitches = 10 cm in Gartner Stitch.
