Winter Moon Socks - Inspired by the colors and feeling of winter… Picot cuffs, a little bit of colorwork, bobbles, decorative slip stitch heel and rounded toe… Lots of pretty details for delicate and fun bedtime/home time socks!

Knit cuff down in Magic Loop method, but easily adaptable to knitting with DPNS. Instructions for a Rounded Toe are given in the pattern--a decreasing style that is similar to that for hats/hat crowns. But feel free to use your favorite cuff, heel or toe constructions. This pattern will be enjoyable for all knitters, and is an especially nice starter for those new to colorwork. A main color plus two contrast colors are required. Very little yarn is needed for the contrast colors, so an ideal project for a using up minis, etc. I have knit the model socks shortie/ankle length, but the socks could, of course, be knit longer if you desire--be sure to allow for extra yarn.
