Winter Morning
The sweater is worked top down starting with the back. Shoulders are shaped with short rows to allow for a better fit; half fronts are worked separately while the front neckline is shaped with increases. At the underarms, half fronts and back are joined and body is worked flat until the neckline shaping is completed. The neckline is intentionally very deep; if you like it shorter, it can be adjusted by modifying the distribution of increases for neckline shaping.
The body is then joined and worked straight down in the round.
Sleeves are worked in Stockinette stitch after picking up stitches at the armholes and finished with twisted ribbing.
Back neckline is finished by picking up sts and adding an attached border worked flat.
