Pattern in English is available.
This is a pattern for the advanced knitter.

Traditional Orenburg lace patterns are used in the charts, but I created them in a classical way to shows decreases. In traditional Orenburg charts only yarn-over’s would be shown.

Pattern instruction options:

1. Square shawl – 169 sts wide (edging not included, optional length with 21 edge repeats); Chart A21.
2. Square shawl – 201 sts wide (optional length with 25 edge repeats); Chart A25.

Yarn: Lace / fine lace / cobweb yarn at your choice in 600-800 m / 540 - 874 yds in 100 grams range.

Approximate yarn utilization, with 10% shrinkage in parentheses, for yarn, 800 m/ 874 yds in 100g):
• Chart A21 – about 850-950m / 930-1040yds,
• Chart A25 – about 1300-1400m / 1422-1530yds,
Needle US 1½ - 2.5 mm/
You may choose similar yardage natural yarns as alpaca, merino wool, etc.

Depending on your knitting style, you may use less or more of the yarn stated.
This shawl has 5 pieces: square center (body) and 4 identical borders. Traditionally these shawls are made as one piece, the pattern has grafting photo tutorial.
