The size of the shawl if made on 1.5-1.75mm needles is 125-130cm square. 1300m is required
A gossamer done on 2mm needles will result in larger gauge about is 135cm square. 1700m is required
If the shawl is done in lace weight yarn, it will require 2400m and will be larger square close to 155-160 side

The shawl can be done in both light and dark yarns
