The winter night sweater is knitted top down on needle 7mm and the gauge for the pattern is 12x19 sts on 10x10 cm. If the yarn is too thick for the 7mm needle it is possible to go up on a needle 8mm knitting one size down (casting on for a size small, gauge of sts make up a medium sweater, casting on to a medium sweater gauge is x-large with a gauge of 11x17 sts on 10x10 cm).
