In my house, we have at least three blankets most rooms and take our favorite ones with us throughout the whole house. We love a good blanket and the cats definitely agree with us.

The Winter Nights Afghan is made using a fun wave like stitch and two colors (one extra one for the border or you can use one of the colors throughout the blanket). You will bring up the yarn as you are working on the blanket and then the border will cover up those strands.
