Introduction
White paisley patterning pops against a background of dazzling holiday colours on this paisley-filled hat. Make a full set of winter wear (mittens, hat, and cowl) using three balls in main colour and just one ball of contrast colour.

20¼ inch (51.5 cm) circumference
to fit heads 20 to 23½ inch (50.5 – 59.5 cm) circumference

MC – 1 skein Panguipulli by Araucania
(100% Merino; 193 yards / 100 grams): Hot Pink, Coral, Jade
Or 75 yards aran weight yarn
Choose a yarn whose colour doesn’t bleed when washed.
CC – 1 ball Cashmerino Aran by Debbie Bliss (55% Merino, 33% Microfiber, 12% Cashmere; 98 yards / 50 grams): cream
Or 50 yards aran weight yarn
Needles and Notions
US 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

19 sts and 26 rounds = 4 inches (10 cm) in stranded stockinette colourwork.
22 sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in k1, p1 rib.
