Inspired by a funky oversize scarf I found at a vintage shop in New Mexico, this versatile wrap is all about the lush, thick texture and the bold fringe. The Winter Poncho uses bulky wool blend roving yarn and textural post crochet stitches to create a warm cover-up perfect for adding character to any cozy outfit!

Pattern includes photo tutorials and written directions for both post stitches and the double chain technique used in the fringe, as well as a traditional fringe style instructions – so even beginners can learn how to make it!

7 skeins Bernat Roving (#5 weight, 100 g / 120 yds, 80% Acrylic, 20% wool) – this is the recommended yarn shown in the examples in the solid color ponchos. The multi-colored examples are made from scraps of bulky and super bulky yarns
9.00 mm hook, 11.5 mm hook
