Winter Skies Cowl
The Winter Skies Cowl is an infinity cowl highlighting 4 different colorwork motifs that are each repeated two times. The cowl is constructed using a provisional cast on and is knitted in one long tube. Upon completion of the tube, you will graft the provisional cast on to your live stitches, using Kitchener stitch to make a seamless join. The cowl can either be joined flat or with a twist to make a Moebius version.
The cowl calls for 4 highly contrasting colors of DK weight yarn. The sample is knitted in Skyland DK from Blue Sky Fibers, but any soft DK you have on hand will work.
The pattern is both written and charted and has links to helpful videos and articles for tips on colorwork tension, holding your yarn, doing Kitchener stitch, and making a colorwork gauge swatch in the round.
The pattern will be 20% off--no coupon code needed--from Friday February 17th-Sunday, February 19th.
