Inspiration
I came up with this pattern in the year 2020 where we all suffered from the Covid effects on our life and society. It was meant as a kind gift and at that time, I had never published a pattern before.
Now 2 years later, I have made several other patterns and have had them all tested. So now came the time for this one.
My your new mittens get out at great adventures!

Happy Knitting!

Yarn
100g /320m /346 yds Finull, 2 ply, Shetland weight yarn, 28 stitches at 4” /10 cm
I have used Finull by @raumagarn. It comes in yarn balls of 50 g/175 m/191 yds.
It’s 100% piled Norwegian wool.
I bought mine at @limmodesign, which ships yarn world wide (except GB)
50g/ 175m/191 yds of the main color
50g/160m/191 yds of the contrast color.
I used color 438 as main color and 434 as contrast color for the petrol / light gray pair
432 as main color / 479 as contrast color for the green / pink pair
4132 as main color / 4136 for the rust / mint green pair
Needles
A set of circular needles 3mm/ 2,5 US (60 or 80 cm long) for the Magic Loop method
A tapestry needle
1 stitch marker

Colors and sizes
You always have to hold the contrast color first and the main color behind when you knit colorwork. It’s the way you get the patterning most clear. It’s also important you choose two contrast colors to get a “clear” pattern. How to choose colors is an art in itself, so i’ll recommend you make a swatch, so that both colors and gauge fits. The needle size is only guiding.

Gauge for lady size
