This pattern was designed to create a textured, fluffy and squishy scarf that can be wrapped at least twice and still drape to the hips.

I combined several stitch and design elements to show off variegated yarns, but the scarf looks equally good with a solid or semi-solid yarn, too. Depending on the chosen yarn, the mock rib texture can be emphasized or blended.

Needle size and gauge can be adjusted depending on yarn weight used to keep a squishy textured look.
