This winter I really wanted a cute, on-trend hat to wear on my upcoming adventures in Canada. Drawing inspiration from all the adorable, comfy, fluffy things coming out this season, I created a beautifully textured hat with a fluff ball bobble, combining structure
with the whimsical tuft of faux fur. I just love this pattern, and I hope you will too!

This is a pattern for ages 13 - adult sized heads.

Using a bulky (5 weight) yarn with similar gauge as Red Heart Hygge will yield the same results as the purple/silver version of the hat pictured but with less furred/texture effect. Using a heavy worsted weight such as Vanna’s Choice yarn(4 weight) will give you more of a structured look like the cream version in the example pictures.

You can find the faux fur bobbles at most LYS or at JoAnn’s and Michael’s if you live in the USA. Also, Amazon sells them in bulk if you plan you make a bunch for holiday gifts or the likes.

This design crochets up a fairly detailed looking hat that is actually deceptively easy to create. With only one ball of yarn and an hour or two, you’ll have this beauty crocheted up and ready to wear!
