This pattern is available for $4.00.

This pattern is knit bottom up, seamlessly. It uses a cast on technique that is not widely known, it is explained in the pattern but can be substituted if needed. It is knit on magic loop, in the round. There are 4 options for the texture of the tree: Plain Stockinette, Stripes, Moss Stitch, and a Modified Broken Rib. It includes 2 sizes, small and large. The small version uses 3.5mm needles with DK weight yarn and the large version uses 5mm needles with Worsted weight yarn. It is great for Christmas tree ornaments, garlands and overall decor!

Colors:
All options need 2 colors - 1 for the trunk and 1 for the tree, except the striped version, in which you will need a 3rd color.

Yarn:

Small:
I recommend a DK weight yarn, but you can also use fingering weight held double. You will only need a couple grams for the trunk, you will also only need a few grams for the stripe color for the striped version. Collectively, you will need around 12 grams in total for all versions.

Large:
I recommend holding a DK weight yarn held double, but you can also a Worsted/Aran weight yarn. You will only need about 24 grams of Worsted or DK weight held double in total for all versions.

Dimensions:

Small: 4.75 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide
Large: 6.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches wide
