Gauge
24 sts and 34 rows = 4” in k2, p2 relaxed, 14 sts = 4” when stretched

Needles and Notions:
US 9 needles or size to obtain gauge, cable needle (CN), spare needle of the same or a smaller size for grafting. Optional: Stitch markers to divide cable sections

Stitches Used:
K: knit, P: purl, RC16F: Slip the next 8 stitches to the cable needle, (k2, p2) 2x from the left needle. (K2, p2) 2x from cable needle

Notes
The cowl starts with a provisional cast on and then has the ends grafted together. If you’re uncomfortable grafting in pattern, you can work a 3 needle bind off or cast on with your preferred method and seam it. With these alternative methods though, it won’t be completely reversible. Suggested yardage includes 10% excess as your gauge may vary
