Description
This is a unisex hat that is knitted from the top down in the round. The length of the hat from crown to brim is approximately 8 inches. However, that can be changed by knitting less rows after the increases. Try it on as you go.

Unlike other hats, there is no ease because there is no ribbing at the brim. The measurements for the sizes are exact.
Rolling up the brim 1 inch decreases the circumference of the hat by about 1-2 inches.

This hat looks fantastic in variegated yarns.

Materials
Size 8 double pointed needles or size that meets gauge
Size 8 16 inch circular needle (optional)
stitch markers
tapestry needle for weaving in the ends

Yarn: Acrylic or wool worsted weight yarn. Variegated yarns look really good, although stripes can work.

Skill level: Advance beginner

Skills needed: cast on, bind off, knitting with double pointed needles, kfb increases, weaving in ends

Instructional videos for using double pointed needles and the kfb increase are included in the pattern.
