Worked in the round, from the top down, in four seasonal colors, this poncho will brighten the dreariest of winter days. With its pop of red scattered throughout, the knitting requires the ability to read a colorwork chart - which is made easier as you’ll always have the right-side facing out as you knit.

The striping at the bottom “hem” not only keeps the poncho/capelet hem flat, it also is a great way to show off each of the colors used.

Sample shown used:

  • 1-1/2 skeins each of KP’s Wool of the Andes worsted (in Spruce, Clarity and Wonderland Heather).
  • 1 skein of KP’s Wool of the Andes worsted in Red

Directions are charted for the colorwork and written out for the rest.
