Winternet Scarf
When is a scarf a cowl? The Winternet scarf can function as either. This a quick knit in simple stitches finished with lark’s head tassels. Due to the nature of the rib stitches and the netted lace pattern NO BLOCKING is required, making this a great gift to whip up in the last few days before the holidays!!
It is simple to make this scarf wider by adding more increases until you reach your desired width, matching the number of increases with decreases to finish. If a longer scarf is desired, just continue to work more rows of the netted lace pattern until the length minus the finishing ribbed triangle is knitted, then complete with the decreasing ribbed triangular section. Of course, if you add width or length, you will need additional yarn.
Other yarns adapt well to this pattern. I recommend soft and fluffy yarns such as alpaca and mohair blends in DK to Worsted weight.
