I have searched far and wide for a cowl that would be pretty and functional in the winter, and after a lot of searching to no avail, the only option left was to put my creative skills to practice and create my own pattern. The perfect, multi-use, elegant chunky cowl.

A cozy double wrapped cowl that can be worn in one long loop, doubled to be a cowl, or even worn as a hood! The King Charles diamond brocade pattern will keep you looking sophisticated and cute, and add interest to this easy to knit cowl.

There is plenty of room for freedom with the simple textured pattern, allowing for any yarn weight, knit flat with desired needles, and both ends seamed in desired manner once desired length has been reached.

One size, but can be changed according to your desires.

Any gauge to achieve desired measurements.

Materials:

  • Knitting needles
  • 200+ yards of bulky weight yarn (sample used only 2 skeins of Valley Yarn’s Berkshire Bulky).
  • Tapestry needle
