Winters Heart is a lovely project for winter or Christmas incorporating snowflakes, hearts, trees and twinkles, and is created using the overlay mosaic technique.

The PDF has 9 easy to read charts for each pattern included, and corresponding written instructions.

Two PDF’s are available - one using UK terms and one using US terms.

You can use any yarn and corresponding hook you like for this pattern, just remember a tighter tension is better for mosaic crochet.

If using Lion Brand Mandala, you will need approximately 6 skeins for the main body of the blanket (not including a border)

• 3 skeins for colour A
• 2.5 - 3 skeins for colour B

Between 2940 - 3240 metres (3215 - 3543 yards)

This will create a blanket approx 116cm x 152cm (40” x 60”) without a border.

You can of course create any size you want as it’s a simple repeating pattern and just pick and choose the patterns included.
